Hey guys, I recently did a post on some cool lesser known facts about Forestia. So I decided to follow up on that, since so much stuff had to be left out! Forestia is a big place!
Inspirational
Many of our stories that take place on Forestia are inspired by stories that we have heard here on Earth. Here are just a few examples.
Forestian Religion
Nibism is the primary religion on the planet of Forestia, without about a fourth of its citizens practicing it. Followers of Nibism are taught to never fear death, and to embrace it when it comes to them. Nobody relishes the thought of dying, but the teachings of Nibism intend to make mourning much less of an ordeal. The Church of Nibism claims that mourning for too long can ruin productivity, creativity, and social drive. Nibism is followed by Aden James, King Scott XVI, Maria Tsua, and Meta Valentine.
Gaiaism is an extremist religion, often deemed cultist by government officials. Followers of Gaiaism worship Dark Gaia, the Forestian God of the afterlife. He is said to be an all-powerful creature that can manipulate any and every living thing at will, and will often choose to do so for his own benefit. The countries of Discral, Tapula, and Archstemina outright ban the worship of Dark Gaia. Legend claims that he has been sealed away in the Temple of Verdun, which nobody has discovered.
Colism is another popular religion on the planet of Forestia, with about a sixteenth of its citizens following its teachings. Rather than having their followers worship a God(even though Colors, the Goddess of space, is involved), the Church of Colors encourages their followers to think as an enlightened. They have reached the final stage of reincarnation, and now it is time to seize the world. Many Colists are revolutionary thinkers and idealists. Some examples include Snowball Williams, Phaeton Cylius, Vanya Marine, and Alyssa Forestia.
Lomarnity is a branch of Nibism that chooses to either worship the God of Death, Nibbles, or to worship the Divine of Death, Lomari. This branch is centered much more on worship, and is not supported by the church.
Uquaty follows the worship of Uqua, the Divine of Death. Uqua is known as a genderless, sexless being that controls spirits of the dead. Undead, spirits, and many other underworld creatures are often associated with Uqua. Uquans are often considered extremist cultists, and as such uquanity is outlawed in every Forestian nation apart from New Stellia.
Divine religions usually just follow the worship of various divines and their contributions to the world. For example, Aegra Divinistics worship Aegra, the Divine of the Wind and Life, appreciating the forests and wildlife of the planet. Blueberry James is one example.
Castythology is Forestian's equivalent to Satanism. Castysius is often seen as the afterlife for sinners, ruled by Castysius himself, and two of his descendants, Deama and Ibegnol. Followers of this religion often praise Castysius's punishment of sinners. Religious practice of Castythology is outlawed in every Forestian nation except for New Stellia.
Does anyone else see the ties between Lucifer, Satan, and Leviathan? Castysius, Daema, and Ibegnol? No? Well okay then.
Mokuanity is the worship of the planet's creator, Mokuzai. Most Forestians to not practice this as a religion, and just as an everyday part of life, so most countries do not recognize it as an official religion. Shisui is the only country on the planet to practice it as an official state religion, but New Stellia does not claim Mokuanity to not be a religion.
Ancient Forestian Kingdoms
I'm sure you all love this part of Forestia...knights killing each other with swords, giant dragons swooping into attack villages...yeah, those are always good times. Well, all of these things exist in one way or another in Forestia's history. Take a look!
The Kingdom of Akurei - An ancient kingdom located on the Akurei Peninsula. Died out before civilization started sprouting around Forestia.
The Kingdom of Angelon - One of Forestia's most well known kingdoms, Angelon was where New Stellia is now. They fought dragons during the Dragon Crisis of Forestia with knights and paladins, and their greatest heroes included King Eric, Blue the Dragon Slayer, and his brother Green.
The United Holy Empire of Archstemina - Not only is it a mouthful, it's huge. Where Archstemina is today, along with a lot of modern day Shisui, Archstemina was a religious powerhouse that sort of ruled the world, often with boats and ships. Arr, matey!
The Empire of Shisui - Once a giant nation without much power, Shisui slowly grew in the ranks of the world, taking land from Archstemina and Tapula. Then they got poor and weak again. They sure did love their samurai though. Also fought dragons.
The Empire of Tapula - When you think "dark and shady" something like Tapula probably comes to mind. They used to rule the world with Archstemina, until one day vanishing off of the face of the planet. They came back during a civil war in Shisui, but it's not quite the same anymore. They loved fighting with ninjas and armored trains.
The Kingdom of Tanthrul - Located where modern day Discral and Tanthrul were, nobody remembers them. They only lasted 50 years before Shisui took over. Often fought with just poorly armed militia.
The Anodas - Not really a kingdom, more of just this place with no government. Lots of cowboys, guns, shooting, and towns not being big enough for two people. Pow pow, pardner!
Rare Forms of Magic
A lot of Forestians know about them, but they're still pretty rare. Some of these magics are outright banned because of their power, making them even harder to come across. A great way to make some of those super OP fan characters.
This one's a bit shorter since these facts are a bit more detailed. Let me know your thoughts!
Inspirational
Many of our stories that take place on Forestia are inspired by stories that we have heard here on Earth. Here are just a few examples.
- Sonic The Cat was inspired by "Umineko No Naku Koro Ni". Imagine Aden as Battler and Pitch as Beatrice.
- There is a dark forbidden magic on Forestia known as the "shadowmare". This power behaves similarly to Pride's body from "FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood".
- Destral City in New Stellia is based on the way "Durarara!!" portrays Ikebukuro.
- Angella "Ella" James has a star around her neck, either in the shape of a necklace or bandana, that grants powers in a similar way to chaos emeralds from "Sonic The Hedgehog". In "The Chronicles of Forestia", Blueberry frequently utilizes this power.
- The story of "The Chronicles of Forestia" is about Blueberry and his brother GB collecting a bunch of star fragments. This was inspired by "Dragon Ball Z" and "InuYasha", where in both the protagonists have to collect powerful items.
- Snowball Frederick Williams is loosely based on Lelouch Britannia from "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion".
- Jonathan is based on a bunch of different characters, but his voice is based on Patrick Star's from "Spongebob Squarepants".
- Aden is essentially a grown up, creepier version of Billy from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy"...if that wasn't obvious already.

- Starpower includes the ability to create small meteor showers. Only three Forestians in history have harnessed this power.
- Mastery is basically the power to use fire, water, earth, wind, electricity, and all those elements together in one single power. Only one Forestian is known to have pulled this off. Blueberry James!
- The Shadowmare is a curse that destroys the user's soul and heart in exchange for eternal youth and crazy amounts of power. It turns your eyes red, and the only way for you to die is via decapitation or suffocation.
- Light and dark magic, despite their simplicity and not being very strong, have not been seen in many Forestians. One in every ten thousand Forestians can harness these powers without intense training.
- Speed magic has been seen in four Forestians. The ability to alter one's momentum. yes, Aden is among these.
